Specialization: Landscape design, construction and management of gardens, particularly botanic gardens; garden plant taxonomy, particularly exotic plants.
Personal Biography
MSc, Botany from University of Kerala. Joined as Technical assistant (CSIR) in JNTBGRI in 1987. Qualified the Horticulture training conducted in JNTBGRI by Mr. Roy A. Bee from England. Internship at the Royal Botanical Gardens (1992). Attended landscape design classes at the Royal College of Horticulture, RBG. The project design done was rated ‘among the best’. In 1999 completed a landscape design course from Wilshire correspondence College, England with distinction and special prize for outstanding performance. Design accepted as the ‘JNTBGRI logo’. Recipient, first ‘Prof A Abraham Endowment’ for the Best Garden Staff in JNTBGRI (1992).
