Study of Leaf Infecting Micro fungi
Received doctoral degree from the University of Mumbai on a topic “Lichens in the montane forests of Kerala State” in the year 2009. Authored one book, 6 book chapters and more than 40 research publications in peer reviewed national and international journals. Described 35 leaf infecting micro fungi new to science and reported 60 lichens new to India. Recognized Ph.D. guide (in Botany) at University of Kerala. Managing Editor of Cryptogam Biodiversity and Assessment. Life member of Indian Lichenological Society, Mycological Society of India, Association of Fungal Biologists and Kerala Academy of Sciences.
